In the design of checking fixture, it is the key to check the specific design modeling, which directly affects the accuracy of checking the quality of the workpiece. Due to the characteristics of free surface, the reverse engineering is a general method of modeling. The reverse is based on the existing workpiece or physical prototype, using the laser scanner to collect data, and through the process of data processing and 3D reconstruction, the method of building a prototype model with specific shape structure is constructed by the method of data processing and 3D reconstruction. We use the laser scanner to scan the surface of the standard workpiece, collect the feature information of the workpiece surface based on the point cloud, convert the point coordinates to the body coordinates, and use the surfacer software to deal with the point information, get the feature curve of the surface surface of the workpiece, and generate the final free surface model. At the same time, the point cloud can be passed through the point cloud. The maximum and minimum distance to the surface is used to detect the generated prototype model. It should be noted that the model at this time is a slice model without thickness. It is necessary to distinguish the model into the inner or outer surface of the workpiece according to the scanned surface of the scanner, which is particularly important for the specific design.
